Recent Episcopal Bishop visit

We want to thank Bishop Mello for taking the time to visiting our church on September 21, 2025

Our Church heard Bishop Mello’s inspirational sermon, blessings and discussions at brunch. It was a wonderful morning for the St. Stephen’s community. The Rt. Rev. Jeffery Mello, Episcopal Bishop of Connecticut, blessed the Memorial Garden, the new trees, the new St. Stephen’s Church Sign and the new piano. 

The Rt. Rev. Jeffrey W. Mello is the 16th Bishop Diocesan of The Episcopal Church in Connecticut. Elected in May 2022, he was ordained bishop in October 2022. As Bishop Diocesan, Bishop Jeff oversees and is responsible for the spiritual and temporal needs of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut as, together, we participate in God’s mission.
